MediStudyGo was born in a college dorm at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. Dr. Palak Bhandari, then a third-year dental student, found it difficult to retain the overwhelming syllabus through traditional methods. Searching for a better way, she began creating animated videos to simplify complex dental topics. What started as a personal learning tool soon gained popularity among her peers on YouTube.
The videos stood out for being clear, engaging, and easy to understand. As demand grew, she began collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and depth. Her innovative approach led to invitations to speak at hackathons and educational forums. A major milestone came when a top publisher asked her to create content for a textbook on periodontology.
Fueled by this momentum, Dr. Palak applied for the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme during her internship. Securing the grant helped turn MediStudyGo into a full-fledged venture, officially backed by the Government of India. From a one-person initiative, it evolved into a passionate team of over 50 people. Together, they built a platform focused on faster, smarter, and more enjoyable learning.
Today, MediStudyGo offers mind maps, animated videos, and interactive tools tailored for medical and dental students. We’re committed to making high-quality education accessible and effective for learners everywhere. What began as a dorm room idea is now a student-driven movement. And this is just the beginning.
