MediStudyGo began with a simple idea in a college dorm at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore.
As a third-year dental student, Dr. Palak Bhandari was struggling with a problem familiar to almost every medical and dental student, the sheer volume of information to understand, retain, and revise. Traditional, text-heavy learning felt overwhelming, and she believed there had to be a better way to learn.
Driven by curiosity and a passion for education, she began creating animated videos that transformed complex dental concepts into simple, visual explanations. She uploaded them to YouTube, where they quickly found an audience among students looking for a more engaging and effective way to study.
As the platform grew, Dr. Palak began collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure that every resource combined visual simplicity with academic accuracy and depth.
Her work soon gained recognition at hackathons and educational forums. A major milestone came when a leading publisher approached her to create animated educational content for a Periodontology textbook, showing that what began as a student project had the potential to become something much bigger.
During her internship, Dr. Palak applied for the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme. Receiving the grant became a turning point, providing the support to transform her idea into a full-fledged educational venture.
MediStudyGo was born.
Today, MediStudyGo helps medical and dental students learn through visual mind maps, animated videos, flashcards, MCQs, and interactive learning tools designed to make complex subjects easier to understand, faster to revise, and easier to remember.
