Dr. Choksi began her professional path as a BDS-qualified human dental surgeon in Mumbai. Yet, the routine of human dentistry didn’t quite resonate with her deeper calling. She trained at the New Zealand School of Equine Dentistry and further honed her skills in the USA, becoming India’s first practitioner accredited in this specialty. She is also the first Indian member of the International Association of Equine Dentistry (source).
